EdoXodE EDM TEST DRIVE

Some information and (we hope) helpful instructions:

  • You may want to print this page for use the first time through.  It's both a training guide and reference info.
  • If you get lost, you can always return to this page by clicking the "Back" button until you reach this page.
  • When you click the "Start the Test Drive" link at the bottom of this page, you will go to our Login screen.  Enter "testuser" for both user name and password (case sensitive), then click the "Login" button.
  • If you get an error screen, you will need to adjust your browser settings.  Here's how:
  • If you're running Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), determine the version by clicking on the "Help" menu header at the top of the screen, then clicking "About Internet Explorer".  The Version Number will appear at the top of the resulting box under the Microsoft logo.  Once you have that number (hopefully either 5.xx or 6.xx), find the information for that version below.  If you're NOT using Microsoft Internet Explorer, or have an IE version lower than 5.xx, call us and we'll work with you to get your browser set up to do EDM.
If you are running IE version 6.x+: Click the "Tools" menu header and select "Internet Options".  Select the "Security" tab, make sure "Internet" is highlighted, then slide the control to the "Medium" level.  This will permit you to accept the plug-ins required to validate security functions and view documents.  Next, click the "Privacy" tab, slide the control to the "Low" position.  This will permit you to run the cookies required for validation and viewing.  Click "OK" to apply and save these settings and you're all set to go.
If you are running IE version 5.x: Click the "Tools" menu header and select "Internet Options".  Click the "Security" tab, make sure "Internet" is highlighted, then slide the control to the "Medium" level.  This will permit you to accept the plug-ins and run cookies required to validate security functions and view documents.  Click "OK" to apply and save these settings and you're all set to go.
  • Click the "Show Available Cabinets" link.
  • The next page contains names of "cabinets" (or applications).  Click on one to open it.
  • Do a "wild-card" (select all) search in the application you have chosen by clicking on the "Click to Search Images" button.
  • When the results appear, you can check the box to the  left of one or more pages, then click the "View Selected" link, or see all pages by clicking on the "View All" link.
  • You will then be presented with a thumbnail array of all pages you have selected.  Again, select the specific page or pages by checking the box under the thumbnail, then clicking the "View" icon; or click the "Select All and View" link to display all of the pages.
  • You will then see the first page in the range you have selected displayed in a reduced format.  You can see the page in larger size by scrolling down.
  • When the image appears, it does so in its own window.  After you are finished with that image, either use the "Back" button to return to the Document Selection Page or click on the "Go Back" link.  You can also use the buttons below the image to move among various pages if you have selected more than one to view.  This is useful if you need to compare two pages.
  • There are several icons displayed to the left of the document display screen which can be used to manipulate the image once it appears - feel free to try any or all of them.  Again, if you get lost, just click the "Back" button (typically top left on your browser toolbar) until you return to this page.

This is a demonstration of the ease and convenience of storing and retrieving documents electronically with NetBase Systems.  It is very general in nature and simply illustrates the concept.  Contact us if you would like to arrange to view a sample of YOUR documents protected by a personalized user name and password.

You can navigate to other parts of our site by clicking the appropriate buttons at the top of the page.

Congratulations.  You are now trained and ready to begin!  (Pretty simple, eh?)
