What does "IT support and services" mean?
Information technology is complex, variable, and difficult. You have to support some kind of infrastructure (desktops, servers, cabling, etc.) AND make the various applications you are running work. In order to obtain needed value from your IT investment, you have to make it function productively. This is not easy, and often requires expertise that goes beyond the scope of a single individual. NetBase brings the combined experience, talent, and skills of a group of IT veterans and experts to you on a contract basis. That means you engage us at the level that makes best sense for your organization and pay us for what you use, as you use it.
Simply put, it's not a matter of whether you need it (you do), but how you get it. In order to fully realize the benefits of your IT investment (hardware and software), it's necessary to have a support structure under you to provide timely solutions as issues pop up. Everybody has an internal person that is something of an expert on various aspects of some software and hardware, but is that what you want them doing with their time? What if they leave your organization?
How about hiring a full-time IT director? You would be amazed at what a quality person costs, and that's just for salary and benefits. Factor in ongoing training, perks to retain this person, and having to follow the market to make sure you're paying him or her enough to stick around, and you have a potential nightmare.
